LaToya Renee Sivels Evans

LaToya Renee Sivels-Evans, 43, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in a local hospital. She was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools and attended Brainerd High School. LaToya was a member of Greater Nazarene Baptist Church. She also was a member of the Sickle Cell Warriors. LaToya was preceded in death by her husband, DeWayne Lynnell Evans, Sr.; grandfathers, Rudolph Foster, Sr. and Homer Sivels; great-grandmothers, Reita Foster and Bertha McKibben; great-grandfathers, John Foster and R.B. McKibben; sister, Malakia Sivels; aunts, Carol Jean Jordan and Renee Foster; and uncle, Kenneth Sivels. Burial in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
